01 — Describe your goal
Start by telling AloQ what you want to accomplish. Describe the desired outcome, relevant context, and any constraints the agent should follow.
Clear instructions help the system understand the task and determine what information or actions may be required.
02 — Understand and plan
AloQ is designed to interpret your request and organize complex work into a sequence of steps. Depending on the task, planning may identify required information, available tools, dependencies, and conditions for completion.
If important details are missing, the system may need clarification before proceeding.
03 — Select the appropriate capabilities
The system can determine which available agent, tool, or connected application is appropriate for the requested work, provided the necessary routing and integration capabilities are implemented.
An agent can only use services that are available in the environment and authorized for the task.
04 — Execute supported actions
When the necessary capabilities and permissions are available, an agent can perform supported actions in the relevant environment. Depending on the task, this may involve creating or updating information, processing data, or coordinating multiple steps.
Some operations may require user confirmation, authentication, or additional input. An instruction or generated plan alone does not mean an external action has been completed.
05 — Track progress
Task status and execution feedback help you understand whether work is pending, in progress, completed, or unsuccessful, depending on the status information provided by the system.
When a step fails, the system should report the issue accurately rather than claim success without evidence.
06 — Review the result
After execution, review the result reported by AloQ. For important changes, verify the outcome in the connected application or system.
A task should be considered complete only when the required outcome has been achieved and there is sufficient evidence to support that conclusion.
What makes execution possible?
- A clearly defined task and its expected outcome.
- An appropriate agent or execution workflow.
- Available, correctly configured integrations and tools.
- Valid authentication and sufficient permissions.
- Reliable status reporting and result verification.
Security and user control
Agents should operate within the permissions granted to them and respect the security boundaries of connected services. Review integration permissions carefully and provide confirmation when a workflow requires it.
Do not share passwords, API keys, or other confidential credentials in task instructions.
What if a task cannot be completed?
A task may be blocked by missing information, unavailable integrations, insufficient permissions, service errors, or unsupported functionality. AloQ should communicate these limitations and identify the next step when possible.
If the result is uncertain, verify it before assuming that the requested action succeeded.
